The drilling drawworks is one of the main components of well servicing equipment. It uses a double-drum design and consists of the main drum / sand drum, brake system, drawworks frame, lubrication system, crown protector and other components used to lower drill string and casing during tripping operations and to control bit weight during drilling. The sand drum is used for coring, well testing and related operations.
